How to Export a PGN File

Playing a game with your ChessUp is fun whether you are playing OTB, against the AI or online with Lichess. However, there might be a time where a player might want to analyze their games so they can become better players. This article will teach you how to export a PGN file from the ChessUp app.

  1. First, open up the ChessUp app. Right below the New Game button, you will see a section where all of your games are stored under Your Games.

  2. Next, click on View All to see all of your games. You will select the game you wish to export by clicking on the magnifying glass. On Android it will look a little different, it will look like an arrow pointing down.

  3. After pressing the magnifying glass, you will be taken to a screen asking if you would like to Export your PGN file. Go ahead and click on Export PGN. You may also click on Copy to ClipBoard if that is an easier solution. If you choose to use this feature, the user will be able to paste the PGN to any Chess platform of their choosing.

  1. Finally, click on copy or export the file however you wish! At this point any player can view their PGN file on any Chess platform.
