No Lights Mode

It might be desirable to practice without the legal move lights illuminating when a piece is touched. ChessUp allows you to do this via a setting in the app. Follow the instructions below to turn off the legal move lights. Once this setting is turned on it will be saved for all future games when the board is connected to the app.

• Click on your avatar image in the upper right of the main screen.

• Click on "General Settings"

• Scroll down until you see the "No Lights Mode" and press it to expand the selection. Toggle the "No Lights Mode" switch.
