Pieces Not Detected
If you are seeing purple lights flash under your pieces (pieces aren't being detected by the board as present) or the pieces aren't detected in the start position, then try one of these solutions.
- Calibrate your board. Click here to see how.
- Use a needle to poke a small hole through the felt on the bottom of the pieces. The felt is placed on the pieces at sea level and it creates a vacuum seal. When the pieces are used at higher elevations the lower air pressure allows a bubble to form in the felt thus slightly lifting the piece off the board. This makes it hard for the sensor to detect the piece.
