How to Add Friends From the ChessUp Community

With ChessUp there is a growing community of users. You can friend other ChessUp users and challenge them to a game following the below instructions. Click here to see a video.

Add a Friend

1. Go to your profile by clicking on your avatar/initials in the upper right.

   

2. Click the Friends button. Here you will find a list of your current friends.

   

3. To add a new friend search for that person in the search bar. Only friends who are currently online are searchable.

   

4. The Invite Friends button is a way to invite others to join the ChessUp community. It will simply send them an email with a link in it.

5. When your friend accepts the invite you will receive a notification.

   

6. Go back to the play screen and pull down on the window until you see the refresh symbol at the top. This will refresh you friends list. In your profile you will now see your new friend.
