How to Challenge a Friend From the ChessUp Community

If you have a friend in the ChessUp community it's easy to challenge them to a game. See below to find out how.

Challenge a Friend

1. From the Play screen, users will notice three options in Online Mode. Select ChessUp.

   

2. Next, you will be taken to the New Game screen. Setup the settings how you want them. Choose if you want assistance, what color you want to play, and the time format. You can even include a hint limit.
3. After that, select your opponent! Your online friends will have a green under line under their name. Click on their avatar and you will see a check mark next to their name. Then press Start Game. Note: At this time you can only challenge a friend that is currently online.

4. The game request is then sent to your friend. You will now see the game play page with a spinning circle.

5. Once your friend accepts the invite you will see a message pop up to let you know. You can then make your first move if you are playing white or wait until your friend make the first move if they are playing as white.
